The journey which takes about 30 minutes in each direction takes you through an area of outstanding natural beauty. There are wonderful views from the embankments across the open fields. In many of the cuttings wildflowers are to be seen in profusion, together with many birds and butterflies. Whatever the weather you can travel in comfort as there are enclosed, covered and open carriages available.

Wells Station has a large car park, signal box which house our cafe and gift shop. Why not take an early train to Walsingham and spend time exploring the village and the beautiful Abbey Grounds and Shirehall Museum. Be sure to visit the Walsingham Farms Shop, the Curiosity Shop and the Chocolate Deli with its delicious chocolates hand made in Walsingham.

There are several places to have a meal in Walsingham including "The Victorious" and the "Black Lion Hotel".

We are open from mid March until the end of October 7 days a week with children's activities durning every holiday including Christmas and the February half term.
