About Weybourne Forest Lodges

Situated just 5 minutes drive from the stunning North Norfolk coast at Weybourne close to the the famous North Norfolk Herritage railway that runs from Holt to Sheringham. We have over 100 acres of our own forest and this leads into another 100 acres of National Trust forest, which adjoins Sheringham Park.

You can walk from Weybourne Forest Lodges into Sheringham without seeing another house, through the woods and along the cliffs. The forest is unspoilt and abundant with wildlife. It is our aim to protect and encourage wildlife and we have planted hedges and shrubs to attract birds and butterflies, other insects and animals.

We have a small menagerie with rare breeds of Soay sheep, Red Squirrels and an English Spotted Pony as well as ducks, rabbits, miniature pigs and our lovely Arab mare, not to mention our Jack Russell dog and a cat who thinks he's a dog. It is not unusual to see us out walking in the forest with the dog, cat and pony, with the horse following on loose behind us. Sometimes the pigs go for walks too!

Each lodge is fully equipped, warm and comfortable and available for holidays all year round. All have WiFi and parking directly outside for at least 2 cars. There is a laundry on site (small charge).

CHESTNUT LODGE
This is a comfortable double glazed park home with full gas central heating.
Sleeps five.
Three bedrooms, one with a double bed, the second with two single beds (one 2'6" wide, the other 3'). The third bedroom is a small room with a 2'6" wide bed.
Living/dining area with colour TV and DVD.
fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, fridge etc.
Small bathroom with wc, washbasin, full sized bath and shower.
Large L-shaped gated balcony (safe for children and dogs).

ACORNS
Acorns is a cosy single storey pine chalet tucked away in a quiet corner.
Sleeps two plus baby or small child
One bedroom with king-size bed (can be split to make two 2'6" wide beds).
Fully equipped kitchenette with full size cooker, microwave and fridge.
Comfortable living room with TV and DVD.
Bathroom has a bath with shower over as well as wc and wash basin.
Full gas central heating.
Gated balcony, safe for children and dogs.

HAWTHORNS
Hawthorns is a delightful single-storey lodge overlooking the pony paddock.
Sleeps four plus baby or small child
Two bedrooms (one double bedroom with en suite bathroom, one twin)
Shower room
living/dining/kitchen area with vaulted ceiling (including cooker, microwave, fridge, TV and DVD).
Outside is an enclosed decked area, suitable for dogs.

SQUIRREL LODGE - Scandinavian style A frame timber lodges, sleeping up to 6 plus a baby or small child. Three bedrooms one double with en suite plus 2 twins. These fantastic lodges are fully equipped and ideal for holidays all year round.

The lodges are extremely well insulated, with double-glazing and are warm and comfortable in cold weather. Heating is by modern storage heaters on the ground floor and convectors on the first floor (heated towel rail and convectors in bathroom/shower room). Each lodge has a front balcony with a gate (safe for children and dogs). Two of the lodges have wheelchair ramps and wide doorways (this requirement should be specified at the time of booking).
