If you are looking for somewhere to relax and unwind in comfort, then this could be the place to stay. We have over 100 acres of our own forest, wonderful walks and abundant wildlife. We have cycle routes and horse riding on our doorstep and Norfolk Wildlife Trust Centre is just a short drive away - there is so much to see and do around the area (even in the winter). We are especially lucky to have many excellent places to eat in North Norfolk, as well as dog-friendly pubs and great shopping within a short drive.

Each lodge is fully equipped, warm and comfortable and available for holidays all year round. All have parking directly outside for at least 2 cars. There is a laundry on site (small charge). We also have lots of animals - pigs, sheep, ponies, ducks, chickens and even red squirrels (we belong to the East Anglian Red Squirrel Group who are trying to help save them).

Our lodges vary in size and type so there is something to suit everyone. (Please note: we do not have a club house or any entertainments).

LODGE DESCRIPTIONS: All lodges have TV, DVD players, microwaves, radios and dishwashers (no dishwasher in Acorns). All bedding is provided along with towels and tea towels

ACORNS - (sleeps 2 + baby or small child). A cosy single storey lodge tucked away in a quiet corner. It consists of a spacious living/dining area with kitchenette off, a bedroom with king size bed (can be split into single beds) and a bathroom with w.c., basin and bath with shower over. Gas central heating and electricity included in price.

CHESTNUT LODGE - (Sleeps up to 5) This is a single storey park home with 3 bedrooms, open plan living/dining/kitchen, bathroom with basin and w.c. Gas central heating and electricity included in price. Large enclosed balcony on two sides.

HAWTHORNS - (Sleeps 4 + baby or small child). NO DOGS ALLOWED IN THIS ONE. This is a delightful single storey lodge with 2 bedrooms (1 double with en suite bathroom, w.c. and basin and 1 with 2 single beds). Open plan living/dining/kitchen area. Shower room with w.c. and basin. Gas central heating and electricity is included in the price in this one. Decking area outside overlooking pony paddock.

SQUIRREL LODGE - Scandinavian style A frame timber lodges, sleeping up to 6 plus a baby or small child. Three bedrooms one double with en suite plus 2 twins. These fantastic lodges are fully equipped and ideal for holidays all year round.

The lodges are extremely well insulated, with double-glazing and are warm and comfortable in cold weather. Heating is by modern storage heaters on the ground floor and convectors on the first floor (heated towel rail and convectors in bathroom/shower room). Each lodge has a front balcony with a gate (safe for children and dogs). Two of the lodges have wheelchair ramps and wide doorways (this requirement should be specified at the time of booking).
