About Church Farm Barns

We are a family run business providing 8 self catering cottages

The cottages are situated within the large and colourful grounds of a working farm in the quiet village of Bircham. We are located about five miles from the Royal Estate at Sandringham and seven miles from the North Norfolk Coast. It is in an area of natural beauty but it is essential that you have a car to get the most from your stay with us.

The properties are all renovated farm buildings which have been converted to a high standard and have between 2 and 5 bedrooms, sleeping between 2 and 10 people. With a total of 48 beds we are perfect for that family & friends get together or group holiday.

All of our properties have been designed to be accessible for all, allowing those with limited mobility to holiday with their family and friends in a home from home environment. All cottages are wheelchair accessible, have level access, open plan room layout including roll in wet rooms and purpose built low level kitchens. Each has its own personal garden.

We welcome all members of the family, including dogs!

We provide wireless access to the internet and have a selection of equipment such as hoists, wheelchairs etc. available to hire.


The beds are all made up with crisp, fresh linen, including duvet covers, fitted sheets and pillow cases. Blankets are available at request. All you need to bring are your towels Our bathrooms come complete with a commode chair and grab rails.

For those wet days or for a night in in front of the telly, each cottage has a DVD player & a selection of board games. We also have free wireless access to the internet which you can link to if your lap top is compatible.

Here at Church Farm Barns, we try to make life as easy as possible for you, after all you are on holiday.

Therefore, if you don't want to have to lug your mobility equipment from your home to here so we have some essentials here that you can rent from us for your stay. They are regularly serviced and maintained by a reputable hire company and will be in your cottage on your arrival. See our website for available equipment and hire prices.
